In this collection, you’ll see more than just art — you’ll find pieces of my personal journey, expressions of my inner world. While design fuels my professional life, art is where I reconnect with my passion, where creativity flows freely, and where I challenge myself to explore new perspectives. Each work represents a moment of inspiration, capturing what words cannot, and reflects a part of me beyond my daily role as a designer. Each of these creations holds meaning far beyond their visual appeal — they are fragments of my artistic soul, moments where creativity has become more than a profession.
Laranja Neon – Cover art for Lenise Rodrigues’ single, 2024. Available on Spotify. This piece is a bold exploration of color and energy, capturing the vibrant spirit of modern Brazilian popular music. The psychedelic textures, all hand-drawn, reflect the whimsical yet introspective nature of the song, drawing inspiration from the imagined perspective of a lonely cat watching the world while waiting for its owner. The design merges surrealism with a sense of solitude, transforming an ordinary day into a vivid, dreamlike experience.
Diz Aí – Cover for Lenise Rodrigues’ single, 2024. Available on Spotify. Inspired by the deep "saudade" Lenise felt for her brother, who lives in Porto, Portugal, she wrote this heartfelt song and asked me to create its cover art. I chose to incorporate iconic Portuguese tiles, all hand-drawn, to symbolize both the distance that separates them and the connection that endures. Centered on each tile is a cashew fruit — an affectionate nickname Lenise uses for her brother — making the piece even more personal. This cover tells a story of love across borders, where every tile becomes a fragment of their shared memories and unbroken bond, no matter the miles between them.
Eternos Carnavais – Cover for a commissioned single by Lenise Rodrigues, 2024. Private project, not available on streaming. This cover was created for a non-monogamous couple’s wedding, commissioned by their bridesmaid as a celebration of their unique love. Lenise crafted the song by exploring both the bride and fiancé’s perspectives, weaving them into the metaphor of a never-ending carnival where different universes come together in joyful harmony. I translated this into the cover art using geometric shapes that represent their individual passions and abstract elements reminiscent of Brazilian carnival — let's say confetti, glitter, and everything sparkly. The result is an explosion of color and celebration, just like their love story.
Dandelions – Watercolor and ink pen, 2022. This hand-drawn piece symbolizes resilience and the fleeting beauty of life. The delicate nature of the dandelions reflects moments of quiet strength, as they scatter seeds of hope with the wind. Each stroke of ink and wash of watercolor captures the fragile yet persistent spirit that defines us in times of growth and transformation.
Lily – Watercolor and ink pen, 2022. Inspired by nature’s tranquility, this hand-drawn artwork brings to life the quiet elegance of lilies. The soft washes of watercolor paired with the ink lines evoke a sense of peace and reflection, inviting the viewer to pause and appreciate the simple beauty in the natural world. This piece embodies a gentle moment of stillness in an otherwise chaotic world.
